Tax Manager (with partnership prospects) – Greater Manchester, North West / Manchester

Our client, a respected local firm, is looking to recruit a tax manager with a corporate tax bias to a key senior role within the firm. This varied and interesting role will involve a mix of tax advisory work, client relationship management and business development. The firm has a varied client base (with a focus on entrepreneurial OMB’s) and the role offers the opportunity to work in a modern and friendly environment where you will enjoy plenty of client contact.  

You will have strong tax experience, a background in corporation tax and will feel at home advising across a range of tax issues (including advising re business sales / acquisitions / reorganisations and planning for property transactions). The role will also involve managing a portfolio of general practice clients and playing an active role in business development (by networking locally and putting on client seminars).

This is a key appointment for the firm and a great opportunity if you are an ambitious self-starter with a positive approach. The successful candidate will be on track to achieve partnership within a small number of years. Ideally you will be CTA qualified, with a solid understanding of accounting issues, but applications will also be considered from candidates who are either ACA or are qualified by experience.
