Our client is a Big 4 firm whose FS tax practice provides advisory, transactions and compliance services to a variety of clients in the Financial Services market ranging from some of the world's largest multinational institutions, corporations and funds.  The R&D Tax specialism of the firm is also very well regarded.  As a result of continued growth a need has been identified to recruit a consultant to work on R&D claims for a broad range of financial services clients.

 

The Role: 

  • Working with the client’s senior tax officers to ensure that eligible R&D expenditure is identified
  • Understanding and interpreting ERP systems and other financial databases
  • Assisting in responding to HMRC enquiries into R&D tax claims
  • Building an internal network within the wider tax practice of the firm
  • Developing specific knowledge in respect of R&D tax issues for FS institutions

       

The Person:

You will have strong technical skills with relevant corporate tax experience.  R&D tax experience is advantageous but not essential. Financial services experience is not essential.

 

In addition you will possess the following attributes:
