Head of Transfer Pricing, Latin America

The Organisation

Our client is a multi-service line banking group with global operations.  A need has arisen to recruit a functional head of transfer pricing to be responsible for the Latin America region.

The Role 

Reporting within a matrix structure to both the Head of Transfer Pricing and the local Head of Tax, this is an important hire for the bank.  The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Development of transfer pricing policy for the region
• Ensuring that the all functional and economic analysis is undertaken
• Ensuring the comprehensive transfer pricing documentation is produced
• Working with local management to implement transfer pricing policy
• Negotiating with tax authorities and dealing with transfer pricing audits

The Person 

You will have enjoyed a successful background within transfer pricing, ideally with an exposure to financial services clients gained within a Big 4 (or equivalent) professional services organization.  In addition the preferred candidate will have worked in an in-house multi-national environment (ideally banking).  In addition you will possess the following characteristics: 

• Team player that is used to working in matrix structure
• First rate interpersonal skills with a high degree of empathy and an ability to influence in order to get the job done
• Portuguese AND Spanish language skills are required
