This global international utilities company has operations in all continents and over 25 countries. With an ambition to developing their offering, they seek a like-minded individual to join their EMEA Tax team.
Key duties include; Advice and assistance on acquisitions, disposals, re-organisations and development activities Advise on measures to improve the group’s cash tax position and post-tax returns Manage the corporate income tax positions for companies in the region Review and provision of advice on US GAAP reporting (FAS 109 templates, FIN 48) Liaise with businesses on tax, accounting and business developments Liaise with US Tax Department on tax issues in the region Work closely with other head office departments Assist with global transfer pricing project Assist with regional accounting and tax compliance out-sourcing project Provide assistance on withholding tax, VAT, stamp duty and other taxes Key skills required; Experience of UK and / or international corporate tax ACA or equivalent qualification Strong accounting and analytical skills Some knowledge of US GAAP and FAS 109 required Hays Taxation is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
