VAT – TRANSACTION TAX SPECIALIST – LONDON – GLOBAL ACCOUNTANCY FIRM - £30,000 - £45,000 base salary
As the Transaction tax team continues to grow within this global accountancy firm, the team are now looking to recruit an ambitious VAT specialist who has the appetite for deal making on some of Europe’s largest M&A transactions. You will be working in a team full of technical experts, dealing with multinational clients to deliver well publicised deals globally. Furthermore the VAT function that sits within Transaction Tax team also takes responsibility for the VAT issues of the Corporate Restructuring department. Your responsibilities will include transaction based advisory work for review, preparing VAT grouping applications for the inclusion of companies in existing VAT groups or setting up new VAT groups, running all aspects of VAT for trading insolvencies and you will also be encouraged to develop and win new work. The ideal candidate will be ATT/CTA qualified or have a law qualification otherwise showing relevant experience in indirect and transaction tax.
