The Role:
· Preparation of corporate tax returns for companies across the UK group. Liaising directly with HMRC on subsequent enquiries. Payments of quarterly corporate tax instalments for UK entities.
· Preparation for capital allowance claims. Assistance with year end tax reporting, including calculation of suitable tax provisions and consolidation of business units.
· Providing support on advising UK businesses on acquisitions and disposals, and ad hoc planning projects. Co-hosting in house tax courses provided by Group Tax for the UK businesses.
The Candidate:
· Strong corporate tax compliance background and good experience of tax accounting. Desirable tax qualification but not essential.
· Strong communication skills and a good team ethic.
· An individual who is enthusiastic and motivated, with a keen desire to broaden your skill set and achieve progression.
