VAT Director ? Leeds

The Leeds office of this dynamic national firm has been transformed in recent years and now has a tax team that are making a great impact in the local marketplace. With an impressive and growing client base it now sees VAT as being a key service line going forward. Consequently, it is seeking to recruit an ambitious VAT Director to lead the local Indirect Tax team through the next stage of its development.

This is a leadership role and will appeal to highly ambitious candidates who are confident in their ability to generate new income streams and build the current team. In addition to selling and overseeing the delivery of VAT consultancy work the role also involves client relationship management and developing and managing a team of specialists.

You will have a detailed knowledge of VAT with experience probably gained in a large national / international firm. In addition you will have excellent communication skills and a track record of successful business development.
