Our Global Compliance Services ‘GCS’ practice seeks a client and network facing Senior Associate/Manager to take ownership of client pricing and transition projects for the Central Cluster and supervision of the Client Relationship management WorldView Support team. 

The SA/Manager will act as a direct point of contact for their own portfolio of GCS client projects, along with supporting more senior personnel on larger projects and having responsibility for supervising the work of a team of Client Service Administrators.  They will also have responsibility for developing relationships across the global GCS network at all levels.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead cross border regulatory compliance based pricing and transition work, including corporate income tax, indirect tax, statutory financial statements and tax provisioning.  This work will involve planning and agreeing transition projects with clients, or their current service providers and delivering against deadlines and agreed budgets.  In addition, the candidate will be expected to support the wider development of the GCS service offerings by contribution to GCS wide pricing and technology projects as required. 

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the management of their projects and will be expected to attend client meetings with senior members of staff, including telephone conferences and video meetings.  The CRM WorldView Support team aspects, involve set-up and monitoring of GCS WorldView databases for Central Cluster based clients and participation in wider global training and development of the databases.
 
Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate evidence of the majority of the following skills and experience and a willingness to develop these, throughout the secondment:
Skills Required
  • Graduate, or equivalent though work experience.
  • A background in one of the core work streams. Ideally CTA/ACA qualifed.
  • Excellent project management skills – please see below.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to lead and manage their own portfolio of projects.
  • Being able to communicate clearly and succinctly (both verbally and in writing) with an appreciation of the cultural differences encountered in a multi-territorial network role.
  • Leadership of client pricing and/or transition project meetings and conference calls.
  • Confidence dealing with senior people (both internal to PwC and client based), along with the ability to delegate to various levels of junior staff.
  • The ability to work under their own initiative and as an integral part of a close team with a professional, enthusiastic and can-do attitude.
