Corporate Tax Semi Senior, Central London

Our client is a firm of Chartered Accountants and business advisers with around 150 staff, delivering a wide range of specialist services from a single location in central London.  

We are recruiting for a vacancy in their Corporate Tax department as a Corporate Tax Semi Senior. The position will be focusing on providing corporate tax services to a variety of industry sectors. You will need to be client facing, show willingness to work as part of a team and be able to meet deadlines.

Duties and responsibilities would include the following:

• Corporation tax compliance on a portfolio of clients


• Liaising with HMRC on queries into tax returns


• Tax advisory work, under the supervision of managers,  to partners and clients including:

-          structures – company, LLP, etc

-          restructuring

-          property acquisitions and disposals

-          group tax planning

-          share schemes

• Preparation of the tax sections of due diligence reports


•  Completion of EMI and EIS documentation

Relevant corporation tax experience and experience in a professional services environment or dealing with HMRC would be an advantage.   In addition you will have previously managed a client portfolio. You will have good Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word skills and be able to deliver work to a high standard and meet deadlines.  You will demonstrate good client focused skills, the ability to work unsupervised, and within a team.  Excellent communication skills essential, being able to communicate with all levels externally and internally.
