In-House Expat Project Manager

Our client has a worldwide population of over 150,000 employees and as such they have a vast a mobility program stretching over 50 countries. They now have a need for an Expat Consultant or Manager to join the team and look after some key mobility projects. You would look after the entire program from being briefed by the client partner, to entry meetings, immigration and tax assistance and exit meetings.

The role is non tax technical in that the extent of the tax advice you give, will be to provide the assignee a brief overview as to their tax obligations, the UK tax system and how the tax department will service and advise them. The role involves you pulling together the various departments (tax, immigration, HR, relocation etc) to ensure that there is a seamless service provided to the assignee.

You may currently be in a tax technical role but looking to move into a more HR/Project Management role or you may already be a global co-ordination specialist with a multinational company or Big 4 accountancy firm. The key skills are your project management ability and the knowledge of what is involved in the mobility of staff.
