Tax Consultant ? Transactions Tax

Our client is a Big 4 firm whose Financial Services tax practice provides advisory, transactions and compliance services to a variety of clients in the Financial Services market ranging from some of the world's largest multinational institutions, corporations and funds.

The Role:

As a result of their strong expansion plans, our client is looking for an individual for their Transactions Tax team. This is an exciting team that offers the right candidate strong opportunities for career progression and development.

Working as a Tax Consultant you will have an instrumental role and be an integral part of developing the business. You will also have the following responsibilities:

•Delegate effectively and be involved in the development of junior staff in the UK and offshore team
•Assist in winning work by proactively leveraging existing client relationships and contribute to winning new clients
•Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
•Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken

The Person:

You will be an experienced tax professional who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join this growing team.

In addition you will possess the following attributes:

•Relevant transaction tax experience
•Ability to build strong client relationships
•Client driven with a strategic and commercial awareness
•FS industry knowledge preferred but not essential
•US Transaction work a particular advantage
•Team player with ability to create, sustain and lead effective teams
•Any of – ACA/CA/Tax Inspectors with full Technical Training course /Law qualification /CTA
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
