VAT Manager - Edinburgh

This award winning Big 4 firm seeks a VAT manager to undertake a varied role which will include exposure to all of the main indirect taxes including VAT, customs duties, insurance premium tax and increasingly environmental taxes.

Responsibilities will include:

Leading business development initiatives and contributing to winning new work;
Managing a portfolio of work, reporting directly to a director or partner;
Developing less experienced staff;
Cross selling within the firm and;
Identifying planning opportunities.

You should be ATT or CTA qualified with prior VAT experience gained within an accountancy firm or HM Revenue & Customs. You must also have an interest in undertaking business development work and therefore enjoy regular face to face client contact.
