At Ernst & Young we are looking for an assistant to work as part of the tax client teams. You will be covering coordination, project management and account administration tasks. This will allow the tax technical teams to focus on client service and tax technical work. This also allows all tax team members to focus their efforts on their core skills and therefore optimise the department's contribution to the business.

Core Responsibilities

You will be dealing in corporate tax compliance with our Bangalore tax office and project managing tax compliance engagements including planning, scheduling work, coordinating and communicating between the UK teams and the GSS team. Whilst managing any changes to schedule and keeping teams updated.

You will act as Quality and Risk Management Manager (QRM) for relevant projects to ensure appropriate authority is acquired whilst maintaining and updating the departmental QRM database. You will also undertake day to day management of client teams including liaison and coordination of teams in different locations both in UK and overseas.

Furthermore you will contribute to peer group meetings with account co-ordinators from other service lines (Corporate Tax and audit) to share knowledge, experience and best practice tips. Whilst also recording and communicating key financial information to help the teams monitor costs and revenues.

Experience & Qualifications

*A' Levels (or equivalent) and/or further education qualification e.g. HND plus experience gained in an administration/project management/customer service role
*Evidence of knowledge on Microsoft systems and databases, team working locally and remotely, working under pressure, problem solving, good business writing skills
