What’s the role?

The role of Corporation Tax Accountant is essential to the financial health of our business, through ensuring compliance with tax legislation and minimising our tax costs.

Within this role you will be responsible for:

•The completion, submission and agreement of tax computations for 16 UK companies and the timely payment of corporation tax liabilities
•Preparation of the UK tax numbers for the group consolidated accounts
•The provision of ad-hoc advice to the business on all tax related issues

This is an opportunity for a newly-qualified accountant to join a high performing and ambitious department within a fast-paced and dynamic business. You will be encouraged to develop your knowledge and skills within both the tax environment and the wider DSGi business and will have the opportunity to continue your professional growth through study with the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

What are we looking for?

You will be a newly qualified ACA accountant with at least 1 year of specialisation within the tax field, seeking your first role within commerce. In addition you will have:

•Worked extensively with FTSE 250 businesses
•A deep working knowledge of IFRS
•The ability to discuss complex tax issues with non-Tax professionals
•The drive and passion to progress
