In-House Group Tax Reporting Manager

This global organisation is looking for a Group Tax Reporting Manager to join their in-house tax team based in Cheshire. You will be responsible for managing the tax reporting requirements for the world wide group in accordance with IFRS and will also have the opportunity to assist the Head of Tax and other specialists within the team on ad-hoc projects such as transfer pricing and R&D work.

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

•Liaising with the overseas offices and overseas advisers;
•Being responsible for all tax reporting activities including actual, forecasts and budgets;
•Raising the awareness of tax reporting within the group;
•Ensuring compliance with the group’s risk controls environments;
•Working closely with Chief Finance Officer.
•Undertaking ad-hoc tax project work - your role will be split with approximately 75% of your time spent on tax reporting and 25% on project work.

You will ideally be ACA or ICAS qualified as the role involves a large amount of tax accounting work, however the organisation will also consider CTA qualified candidates who are strong in this area. You should also be IT literate with excellent communication skills.
