International Tax Manager

In-house opportunity with a global firm that requires a senior manager with corporate and international tax experience. You will lead a team of tax professionals covering in excess of 100 operations across Europe. This position would suit a qualified ACA/CTA professional either working in the Big 4 or industry who can demonstrate their proven technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team, whilst being fully mobile due to weekly travel requirements of the role.

Your responsibilities will include;
Leading the international tax reporting, compliance and tax planning.
Developing and implementing a tax strategy. protecting and optimising value in the context of the groups business objectives by pursuing effective tax planning strategies.
Raising the profiles of the tax function within the group and ensuring it is integrated into the business.
Advising on and undertaking due diligence and planning for all significant acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations with the group.
Capitalising on local and cross border tax planning opportunities.
Working with senior local management to implement appropriate planning
Negotiating optimal settlements with various tax administrators.
Managing and developing an in-house tax team.
