This Tier A firm is seeking an experienced Employment Tax Assistant Manager to join their growing team in Southampton. This is a mixed advisory and compliance role.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provisioning of employment taxes to corporate clients and charities including PAYE/NIC reviews, employment status reviews, PAYE Settlement Agreement applications and computations, P11D Dispensations, CIS
- Providing technical support to partners
- Working on larger consultancy projects such as HMRC investigations, remuneration planning, flexible benefits/salary sacrifice, company car tax planning, redundancy programmes
- Providing employment tax input to the audit team for the purposes of PAYE/NIC risk as required by the firm’s audit process.
- Helping to build the PAYE/NIC practice in the Southern region
- Controlling the compliance process and monitor deadlines/payment dates applying R.F.T principles
- Dealing with day-to-day client and Revenue queries and correspondence
Experience Required:
Applicants should be technically strong and have extensive experience in employment tax/PAYE/NIC. You will preferably be ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent. You must have excellent project management and organisational skills to manage the diverse range of work available. Good risk awareness and commercial knowledge is essential.
