OMB Senior Manager - Big Four - Birmingham

The firm is looking for an experienced, well-established OMB tax practitioner to work autonomously and win and deliver on exciting tax projects. The individual will work within the entrepreneurial services team which targets OMBs across the West Midlands market.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Providing high quality tax solutions for a portfolio of clients, using your experience to advise on technical solutions effectively;


• Proactively managing the team and carrying out staff appraisal and development; monitoring work in progress;


• Managing service risk ensuring work is carried out to highest professional and client standards;


• Adding to business development through cross selling of additional services and introducing other service lines, securing outgoing and returning work from clients.

Experience Required:

Ideally you will be coming out of a Top 20 firm/independent practice with a corporate tax focused background, have excellent client facing skills and a deep understanding of your target market. You will need a high standard of technical knowledge and be able to apply and advise on it effectively to meet specific project requirements. Ideally you will be CTA qualified or be qualified by extensive professional experience.
