Location: Northampton
Salary Indicator: £55,000 - £85,000

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a leading firm of accountants and oversee and control all Tax activity for the office (Corporate, Business and Personal Tax) including technical support

Responsibilities:

Grow and develop the tax function
Pro-actively seek out and work on tax planning opportunities and new products/services through networking or existing clients
Actively support the growth of the office in winning new assignments through pitches/tenders
Actively promote the tax function in the office internally and externally and expand into the wider area
Ensure that CT compliance work is effectively controlled, delegated, monitored and completed to meet internal and external service delivery demands.
Liaising with audit/accounts staff including attendance at planning meetings, signing off of the tax aspects of audit files and educating them with a view to identifying tax work opportunities
Development of new clients, attending new and existing client meetings, building up good working relationships with clients and colleagues and putting advisory skills to good use

Skills:

Experience of personal, business and corporate tax work
A working knowledge of IHT planning would also be useful
Exposure to business development related activity
ACA/ACCA and/or ATT/CTA
