Corporate Tax Senior

Salary Indicator:£25,000 - £35,000

The overall purpose of this role is to provide management of each assignment in an efficient and effective manner and to help ensure that clients receive a quality service in all aspects.

You will act as the day-to-day point of contact for clients and will attend their premises when required.

You will be responsible for the corporation tax compliance service for corporate clients. You will be required to prepare the corporation tax and deferred tax numbers for inclusion in accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS. This work would be required for stand-alone companies and groups and includes the preparation of tax accounting schedules in AlphaTax.

The role will also involve advising on the payment of tax liabilities as they become due, dealing with enquiries raised by HM Revenue and Customs and assisting with advisory work. You will also brief, supervise, train and review (for adequacy and completeness) the work of Assistants within the department.

Skills:

ACA/ACCA qualified and preferably also CTA / ATT Qualified
You will have proven experience of handling and managing a busy portfolio with work experience gained in a corporate tax environment, preferably in practice.
Experience of using the AlphaTax software system is required as is the ability to move work forwards without the need for regular supervision and direction.
