We now seek an experienced tax policy specialist to join the CBI tax and fiscal policy team to lead work on corporate and international tax issues. The role will also include but not be limited to: •Supporting CBI tax committees and providing input into Budget and other submissions We are looking to speak to people that are ideally tax and/or accounting qualified with a strong understanding of UK and International tax issues. It is essential to have a track record of building and maintaining relationships and credibility with senior tax professionals together with the ability to adapt, pick up new issues, work on your own initiative and contribute effectively to tax policy in the UK. We are also keen to speak to people with experience of policy development, whether that has been gained in an accounting firm, HMRC, HM Treasury or another trade body. This position will appeal to tax and/or policy specialists who wish to play a key role in the technical and commercial developments of the UK tax industry, being visible and close to key decision makers within Government and industry.
