You will join this in-house tax function and report directly into the Head of Tax. This firm is keen to promote career development, technical training and there is potential scope for progression within the team.
The UK group tax manager role US compliance and reporting • Review and some preparation of corporate tax balance sheet accounts, ensuring that all accounts are reconciled on a timely basis and any necessary follow up actions are done • US GAAP corporate tax reporting as required UK compliance and reporting • Review of UK Corporate Tax returns in an accurate and timely basis, including any supporting group schedules, WWDC annexes or additional disclosure • Liaison with HMRC on enquiries and correspondences European reporting • Preparation of tax calculations/disclosures for all European subsidiaries and liaison with auditors as appropriate • Assistance with European tax audits as required • Review of monthly tax payment schedule for all EMEA entities, plus preparation of payments requests for other ad hoc payments as they arise Other corporate tax projects • Management of global tax compliance contract with external providers • Liaison with internal teams and external advisors regarding compliance arrangements for new branches • Transfer Pricing About you • Demonstrable solid UK GAAP/EMEA reporting experience covering all parts of the corporate tax reporting cycle • Familiarity with Alphatax software • Ideally have knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS tax reporting issues advantageousWe request applications to be submitted in a word format only.
