Big 4 – Corporate Tax Assistant Manager – 55k

South London based Big 4 firm with a large corporate tax practice requires a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join its regional tax office. In order to attract the best candidate, this position is offering a highly competitive salary of up to 55k, along with performance based benefits. The Partner has expressed a wish to allow the successful candidate to have a varied role dealing with all aspects of corporate tax, rather than being restricted to one area..

Reporting to the Senior Manager/Partner, and tasked with managing junior members of the regional team, the key responsibilities are as follows:

- Day to day management of existing client engagements, reporting directly to the Senior Manager and Partner

- Assisting with corporation tax planning and advice regarding transactions, mergers and acquisitions

- Developing less experienced staff with hands on advice and support

- Helping with business development initiatives on target accounts

- Providing general support to clients in the provision of tax advice

The successful candidate will be ACA/CTA part-qualified or equivalent with up to date tax knowledge and previous experience of advising clients on UK corporate tax issues.
