The Human Capital practice of this well respected firm focuses on assisting clients in managing the costs and risks involved inn their HR plans, programs and systems. Owing to recent developments, you are being offered the chance to join this thriving practice and a culture of respect, flexibility and team work. Your team deals with a diverse portfolio of clients to administer their international assignment programs by facilitating information tax technology; developing and implementing policies and strategic tax planning solutions; assisting clients' with program administration (piecemeal or full outsourcing); advising on employee compensation, including foreign payroll issues, international implications of equity plans etc.; and providing other international assignment related projects/services. To succeed in this role, you will require substantial tax, technology or related experience.

The Role

• Managing all facets of major projects including adherence to project schedules, quality of deliverables, and financial management, including overall cost, and actual project hours to budget.
• Leveraging long-term collaborative relationships with internal colleagues and clients to improve and deliver high quality technology support to Area engagements.
• Developing an understanding of more complex tax concepts and assignment management concepts and proactively increasing expatriate assignment knowledge through technology projects on client engagements in their Area.
• Demonstrating deep technical knowledge of a broad array of technology tools, products, and solutions.
• Enhancing the understanding of the engagement and/or customers business needs and how existing technology or custom solutions add value through efficiency of services or opportunities to sell additional services to clients.
• Participating on proposals and establishing a local market facing identity, including speaking opportunities in industry programs.
• Seeking out opportunities to work with engagement leaders to use the HC Technology Suite to support sales opportunities with existing engagements.
• Presenting and collaborating with senior level management regarding technology offerings.
• Assisting pursuit teams on proposals, project teams and new business opportunities.
• Demonstrating innovative ways to apply technology.
• Supporting technology Product Managers and product teams as required.
• Delegating, developing, coaching, coordinating and leading co-workers and project team members.
• Creating a positive work environment and effective teaming with other HC technology team members and the HC practice.
• Providing thought leadership to engagements and the broader HC practice.

About You

• A bachelor's degree in a related field and substantial experience of technology, tax, or related experience
• Experience in a managerial capacity
• Ability to work under pressure, possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively present technology information to customers across all levels within the organisation
• Proven ability to present technology to support professional services in prospective client situations.
• Knowledge of current automated tax processing systems and tax laws within an area of technical specialisation
