Group Tax Reporting Manager (Basel)

This is an excellent opportunity for tax reporting specialist to take on a cross-functional position within the worldwide headquarters of this market-leading multinational company in Basel.  Reporting to the Head of Group Tax Reporting, you will be part of a small team that plans, forecasts & reports the group tax charge and rate, working closely with corporate finance, group taxation & other business units.  You will prepare & analyse SOX 404 documentation related to tax reporting and you will also have close involvement in M&A & business integration transactions.  You will analyse the profitability of companies to support transfer pricing or cross border transactions, and assist the Group Head of Tax on tax projects where necessary.

You will need a deep understanding of IFRS and corporate tax to be successful in this position.  You may already be a Tax Reporting Manager looking to join a growing company that is going places, or perhaps you are just below Manager grade and eager to take a step up. Working on projects with key senior staff within the business requires a good level of communication, so you have got to enjoy networking and be a ‘people person’.  Ultimately, this role can, and will, lead to broader roles within tax, finance or the business more broadly.
