Due to continued growth, the Edinburgh based tax team is looking to expand with the addition of a Tax Senior or Assistant Manager. Working in a qualified team of tax experts you will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, and become an expert in entrepreneurial taxes. The Role Working as part of the Entrepreneurial Taxes team, you will liaise with Partners across the firm's office network to ensure that clients expectations are exceeded in relation to their corporate tax requirements. The team cover a wide range of corporate advisory projects from share scheme work (from valuation to implementation), SEIS/EIS advance assurance and compliance statement work, and wider corporate tax advisory including assisting with transaction work and drafting relevant clearances. Experience in employee share schemes, tax valuations and SEIS/EIS is preferred but not absolutely essential for the right candidate. You should have a good tax technical background with some corporate tax compliance and advisory experience. You will be required to be a member of a dynamic and flexible team who work across multiple offices and projects. Good client relationship management skills are essential, as well as a healthy appetite to get involved in business development and growing your network. The team is working on developing working processes and structures, particularly around moving online in the Making Tax Digital era. You will be required to be an advocate of this process. As a Manager in this team you will be expected to present solutions to complex technical issues and manage a small team delivering interesting assignments on a day to day basis.
