Through expansion of their client base, this medium-sized practice which is located on the East of Bristol and is easily accessible from Bristol or Bath this independent Firm has created a new and challenging opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Tax Manager (corporate tax or mixed tax) to join them.

Working closely with the tax directors, you will be responsible for the management of the corporate tax compliance function for the firm, to include managing a team of staff and to undertake reviews of tax computations for our diverse and interesting client portfolio. You will also support the tax directors in various mixed tax planning and advisory work. This can range from reconstructions, share schemes, inheritance tax planning and advisory work for other practices.

As this is a new Tax Manager position, there is potential to tailor the role to suit you based on your ambitions and help drive the practice forward as they continue their year on year growth.

About you

You will ideally be CTA qualified and have an extensive corporate tax or mixed tax background. You will have an excellent knowledge base and technical ability, whilst being comfortable managing a team of people. You will have exemplary client facing skills, have a strong work ethic and a desire to improve and develop others around you.
