One of the leading Accountancy firms in the UK are looking for an experienced Customs professional.

Joining a growing customs team in London that covers the whole UK you will be part of a wider EU and global network providing customs compliance and advisory services to clients across a wide range of industries.

Responsibilities:

You will be a key point of contact within the firm for the client, working directly with the Partner, taking on full responsibility for your portfolio which includes:

  • Control of billings and cash collection
  • Reviewing junior work, mentoring and supporting junior staff
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Identifying and addressing areas of risk
  • Recognising and developing new areas of business

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable customs technical experience min 4 years from either industry, logistics, freight forwarding, HMRC or accountancy background
  • Ability to lead projects whether complex or limited in scale
  • Experience in leading, mentoring and managing a team
