Customs Manager

Tax & Treasury Recruitment Specialists (TTRS) are delighted to be recruiting for a Customs Manager to join a Top 10 firm for their Birmingham based office.

Working as part of the wider EU and global customs team you will get the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of clients ranging from constituents of the FTSE 100 to small owner managed businesses.

Providing customs compliance and advisory services you will be involved in a variety of projects:

• Technical compliance such as classification, origin & valuation

• Customs declaration procedure

• Use of special procedures

• Customs software and reporting

• Supply chain optimisation

With VAT and customs being at the forefront in a post Brexit world, this is an exciting opportunity to join a prominent and growing business area.

To be considered you must have at least 4 years customs experience which has been obtained either from another practice firm, HMRC, logistics or industry, Ideally you will hold a relevant qualification (ACA/CTA/ATT) and have some supervisory/management experience.
