VAT Senior Manager

This role will provide VAT advisory services for a wide range of clients across a variety of sectors. UK VAT experience/knowledge is essential.

You will deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clients and the development of targets in order to ensure the continued growth of the business. You will also assist in the management of the team.

You must be able to pro-actively manage your own workload and communicate with directors/partners on a regular basis. You will also be expected to help develop new client relationships.  Your main responsibilities will be:

• Regular involvement with tax planning and complex tax issues alongside the Partners/Directors.
• Providing VAT advice to clients. 
• Keeping the Partner informed about any new business opportunities arising on existing and new clients.
• Developing your own network of contacts internally and externally and winning your own work and cross selling.
• The review and delivery for the final advice to clients.
• Responding quickly to client requests and maintaining regular contact with clients.
• Coaching and developing junior members of staff.
• Leading large scale or complex projects within VAT.

You must have a significant understanding of and previous experience within UK VAT compliance and in-depth knowledge of recent key updates and areas of focus in the area of VAT. This is fantastic opportunity to progress your career in a friendly and supportive team.
