Leading Independent firm in Liverpool recruiting into their Trust department (£35-£45k)


Your new firm
You will be joining an independent firm of Accountants based in Liverpool city centre as a Trusts Advisor, who possess one of the largest Trust departments in the North West. They have an enviable portfolio of trust clients and an excellent reputation locally for delivering a high-quality service. This job opportunity has arisen due to the firm's increasing service demands, and with an upcoming senior retirement in the team, they are looking for experienced trust adviser to join their dynamic department.

Your new role
As a Trust Advisor your main responsibilities in the job will be the preparation of trust accounts, tax returns and computations, preparation of charity and accounts and charity returns, alongside running certain advisory projects, drafting reports and assisting the Trust Manager with queries relating to income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax planning. Alongside this, you will also assist the team with staff development.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this Trust Advisor job opportunity in Liverpool you will possess trusts, tax and accounts technical knowledge and have gained experience within a similar Practice environment. You also will have experience with a variety of trust accounting systems as well as being able to multi task and work well under pressure, possess strong organisational and excellent time management skills. You will ideally be ATT and qualified or have a desire to complete the STEP qualification, financial study support for which can be provided.
