Corporate Tax Director

This independent firm in Greater London is looking for a corporate tax director to manage and deliver corporate tax compliance and advisory services to their client base, which is primarily made up of OMB’s, SME’s and entrepreneurs.  These clients come from a range of industry sectors.

You will advise on a wide and varied range of subjects including corporate restructuring, HMRC clearance, succession planning, EIS/SEIS, employee share schemes, employee share ownership trusts and profit extraction from family businesses.  Acting as the primary point of contact you will manage the client relationship and will invest time in building and developing long lasting and successful working partnerships with your clients. 

Your role will be varied, and will include business development and marketing to both internal and external clients and liaison with third party work referrers such as banks and legal practices. You will have also considerable contact with the Inspector of Taxes.

You will also be responsible for the managing the juniors in your team and will assist them in their professional development through mentoring and coaching.

You must be ACA/CTA/ICAS qualified with strong written and verbal communication skills and you must be a successful problem solver.  You may currently be a Senior Manager at a large independent or mid-tier firm and are coming across barriers in your progression to Director or you may be an experienced Director looking for Partnership in the future.
