Employment Tax Manager - London (hybrid)

A great opportunity to join the Employer Consulting team of a high-profile accountancy firm.

Based in the firm’s London head office, the role also offers hybrid and flexible working options. Scope exists to work from home 2-3 days a week if one wishes, with start/finish times flexed to suit individual circumstances.

This prominent team advises a broad range of clients from entrepreneurial growing businesses and start-ups, to mid-sized companies, FTSE 250s and public bodies. The team is busy, growing and keen to recruit an experienced tax Manager to provide employment tax advisory and compliance services.

The work will include advising on areas such as PAYE/NIC, P11D, PSA, termination payments, IR35, HMRC enquiries and CJRS reviews. You will handle ad hoc projects, as well as supervising/reviewing a junior team undertaking compliance work.

Working closely with Directors and Partners, you will also get involved with building and maintaining close client relationships, as a key, trusted point of contact. Strong communication and relationship management skills are therefore important.

You are likely to be a CTA/ACA/ATT qualified Employment Tax Manager, looking to make a strategic career move. You will certainly have extensive employment tax experience and be an accomplished project manager. The team are keen to find someone who wants to be supported with their career development towards Senior Manager grade. Longer term prospects are excellent, in what is currently one of the firm’s most dynamic and fast-growing departments. Ref 823.
