As an Assistant Manager/Manager within our Aberdeen Private Client Tax team, you will be looking after a wide range of clients, specialising in personal tax across a mix of compliance and advisory work. You will be joining our small team of dedicated private client specialists in Aberdeen, undertaking compliance work for individuals, partnerships, and trusts. However, you will also be part of the wider Scotland Private Client team. Our clients come from all walks of life and you would have a portfolio of clients that you are directly responsible for and that you will review the work of some more junior team members.
For this position, you will be comfortable managing your own workload, monitoring your utilisation, productivity and WIP and will be confident providing guidance and feedback to others in the team.
In terms of qualifications, we want to ensure we are offering the best service to our clients. Ideally, you will be CA or ATT and/or CTA qualified. Demonstrable experience working within private client tax is essential and any experience of trust taxation would be beneficial.
This position would be the ideal step up for someone currently working at Senior level or already operating as an Assistant Manager but seeking a fresh challenge within an ambitious firm.
