Corporate Tax Senior Manager - Flexible Working

You'll be working on tax advisory projects for clients, either as a leader in the project or as an assistant. You'll work closely with the business tax team, performing technical tax duties. You'll also be in charge of the compliance and advisory tasks related to the large portfolio of clients, working alongside others to deliver high-quality work in line with the deadline.

While your day-to-day tasks will be primarily behind the scenes tax work, this role will also be client-facing, so the successful candidate must possess the capacity to interact well with clients. More broadly, the role will involve managing and directing more junior team members. Above all, a strong technical understanding of tax is essential.

The type of tasks that you'll be working on will be varied, interesting, and challenging. For example, as part of your tax advisory projects, you'll be working on corporate restructuring and demergers, R&D tax relief, share schemes and valuations, and working on the tax sections of a company's due diligence reports, among other responsibilities.

The firm invests in its team and will provide training for tax areas that you have less experience managing. There'll also be chances to work on business development activities for the firm if that is an area you wish to be involved in and have a role in developing the team. There is a large group of corporate tax employees in the business tax team, but you'll be working within a sub-team of supervisors, senior employees, and trainees.
