VAT Senior Manager job with a respected Top 10 firm in Manchester City Centre

A top 10 accounting firm in Manchester City Centre have an opportunity for a Senior Manager to join their national VAT team.

Your new role
You will be responsible for scoping, delivering and billing of client work, whilst maintaining the firm's compliance standards from initial contact through to task completion. You will also be expected to be proactive in the search of new work, developing relationships with new external stakeholders to secure business opportunities. As a Senior Manager, you will work in the wider VAT team nationally. You will have a key role in ensuring that high standards of delivery are maintained by more junior staff, in addition to guiding their research and quality of work produced.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to hold a CTA or equivalent qualification and prior experience of working in a VAT team. You will have strong technical ability, and the prior experience of managing a large portfolio of tax clients. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to forge long lasting professional relationships, and you will have to demonstrate prior business development experience
