Senior Tax Manager working for a growing Top 20 Accountancy firm based in Manchester.

Your new firm
Your new firm is one of the most interesting and exciting top 20 accountancy firms with offices across the UK. Their Manchester office is going through an exciting period of growth across all services lines, but have some key opportunities within their tax team. Their trendy office is based in the heart of Manchester City Centre, with a great working culture.

Your new role
In your new role you will be working in an already strong tax team, reporting into the tax partner working alongside other senior managers. You will be involved in the day to day running from a corporate perspective, handling a mixture of compliance and advisory tasks. In terms of advisory you will be working on R&D tax relief, share schemes, corporate restructuring and transactions. Typically, you will be working with OMBs from the corporate side and on the back of that consult on private client work, advising HNWIs. The current client mix is a really interesting one, with well known range of clients that are slightly more unique than a standard top 20 practice.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to come from a strong tax background, having already gained your CTA and have worked in a corporate or private client tax team. You need to have worked on both compliance and advisory projects and also be interested in leading a team.
