Tax Advisory Manager

Highly reputable Manchester city centre firm seeking tax advisory manager to assist OMBs with full life cycle.

Your new firm
This Manchester-based independent accountancy practice has progressed from strength to strength and have seen notable growth in recent years now employing over 60 staff. They operate a general practice that services clients' needs, spanning accountancy, taxation, corporate restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, retirement planning and more. Due to continued business wins the firm are seeking a Tax Advisor to join the team and manage a portfolio.


Your new role
You will be provided your own allocation of varied clients for which you will be responsible for predominantly providing advisory projects for and also some complex compliance assignments. These range across all type of work, including that of non-UK residents to draw upon international expertise. Your responsibility is to support the tax senior manager on their advice work and to help bridge the gap as an assistant manager/manager to the remainder of the team.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you must have accountancy practice experience, and be ATT/CTA qualified tax advisor. Appropriately representing your clients' interests is key so you will need to be able to speak confidently when addressing their problems, and draw upon your past experience, as well as other tangible expertise, to maintain the high, credible standards of this firm. You will be confident working on mixed aspects of taxation, leaning more on the personal side, such as (but not limited to); IHT, share schemes, reorganisations, resident /non-domestic issues, capital gains, liquidations, remittance planning and offshore accounts.
