Tax Assistant

This is an exciting development role with one of the most recognised international technical professional services firms whose activities range from engineering and construction services to consultancy services.

With over 50,000 employees in over 40 countries, our client is looking to hire a Tax Assistant to sit within the collaborative and industrious Tax department. The role reports directly into the Head of Tax for EMEA so provides with you the opportunity to be exposed to Senior Management. Our client is looking for someone who has genuine interest in pursuing a Tax Accountancy career, an individual who is diligent and has the determination to acquire more knowledge.

The roles general responsibilities will include:

• Administrative duties and provide tax support to the Tax Team.
• Assist with quarterly tax provision and year-end tax reporting processes under US GAAP, including gathering data and requesting information from accounting groups in other entities within the EMEA region.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of the UK corporate tax returns which includes the collation of data and working directly with members of the UK finance team.
• Tax related matters for statutory financial statement filings and audit.
• General tax compliance requirements for the company.
