£100,000 - £115,000 + bonuses & benefits

A leading insurance business will be hiring an In-House EMEA Senior Tax Reporting Manager, based in London. Reporting to the Regional Tax Director and managing a small team of qualified tax professionals, the successful candidate will take ownership of UK direct tax compliance and reporting. Wider aspects of the role include CT MTD, BEPS 2.0, tax governance and operational taxes, additionally providing in-house advisory on business developments.

This is a complex business undergoing significant change and transformations, and so a particular focus and area for value-add is the continuous optimisation of in-house processes and a (substantial) ad-hoc projects and transformations involvement.

This makes an excellent opportunity for the experienced Senior Tax Manager and aspiring leader who is seeking increased responsibilities and a team to manage within a highly credible business.

The successful candidate:

• Insurance/financial services experience is advantageous, but not essential
• ACA or CTA qualification with substantial post-qualified experience
• Post-qualified experience in a tax accounting/reporting focused position (working with both current and deferred taxes, under US or UK GAAP & IFRS)
• UK corporate tax technical grounding; wider international exposure is advantageous (US & pan-European)
• Accustomed to operating within a regulated, complex and multinational corporate environment, likely within a top professional practice or in-house
• Any additional mainstream language skills considered a bonus
