VAT Compliance - Senior Tax Analyst
A great opportunity to work within this fast growing technology based compliance company working on VAT compliance. You will be responsible for preparation and submission and maintaining records and will get involved with tax audits
The role
- Run and review reports produced by the technology within the organisation, analyse the data and apply local VAT rules
- Work on complex VAT issues
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure these are submitted on time
- Manage client queries and any authority queries on VAT issues
- Some mentoring to the team and possibility to do some training
- Monitor relevant legislation and other changes impacting compliance in Indirect Tax
About you
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:
- A minimum 5 years VAT compliance experience
- Good VAT knowledge
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
- Ambition and a desire to succeed
- A good team worker
- Ability to work to deadlines and a strict timetable
4 months to start, possibility to extend £35 - £65 per hour. Fully remote
