Join this Top 20 chartered accountancy practice based in South Manchester as a Mixed Tax Manager. This firm are a general practice that cover all services extending across accounts, audit, taxation, payroll, transactions and more, and are looking to appoint this new position as a result of a relocation. This role can offer both full time or part time hours.

Your new role
As a Mixed Tax Manager you will be required to manage a portfolio of clients across the corporate and personal spheres, with a slight corporate bias. These will include HNWIs, SMEs, not-for-profits, sports clubs and academy schools. You will assist your varied client base with advisory projects as well as handle the responsibility for the associated complex compliance work.

Projects will include R&D tax credits, reorganisations, remuneration planning, EIS/SEIS, trusts and estates and share incentive schemes. You will conduct meetings to discuss your clients' requirements and service these accordingly. You will manage more junior members of the tax department and review elements of their work as appropriate, suggesting improvements where necessary.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking a Mixed Tax Manager who is ATT/ CTA/ ACA/ ACCA qualified or qualified by experience with a proven track record completing a role similar to that of this one. You will be confident dealing with your clients' needs and be forthcoming with accurate advice and suggestions for their businesses. You will be ambitious and have a desire to progress and help to grow the firm's client base.

What you'll get in return
In return you will be awarded a market competitive remuneration package including a salary of around £40000 - £45000 plus 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible working hours and a hybrid working policy, modern open plan offices, parking on site plus a laptop and funded CPD & subs.
