Assistant VAT manager

A UK based Real Estate business is recruiting an ambitious Assistant Tax Manager to join their high-performing team. The Indirect Tax Assistant Manager will be a key member of the indirect tax compliance function with responsibilities in preparing and reviewing monthly VAT returns.

As our Indirect Tax Assistant Manager will have the opportunity to be involved in the advisory aspects of the business, supported by the Group Tax Director, Head of Indirect Tax and Indirect Tax Manager. This role provides a great opportunity to further develop knowledge of the tax affairs for a large UK corporate and receive support for a career in tax.

The business has recently gone through a series or mergers and as a result has further strengthened market competitiveness. With ambitions plans a foot this is an excellent time to join the company as it brings the next phase of plans into reality.

• Recently ACA/CTA qualified (or nearing completion)
• UK VAT compliance and advisory experience
• Some level of tax accounting experience
• Experience in leading a team or advising junior staff members
• Financial services experience considered advantageous
