Indirect Tax Manager - In-house, Blackburn

Our client is a rapidly growing international group. They seek an experienced VAT professional at manager level to join a growing team and deal with indirect tax in both the  UK and international jurisdictions. This is the perfect role for a indirect tax professional who is looking for a fast paced working environment and  a wide variety of project work including transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the submission of the European VAT returns, managing new and existing VAT audits, providing VAT advice in respect of acquisitions and identifying VAT opportunities within part of this group.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or CTA qualified with VAT experience gained in a Big 4 accountancy firm or Top 20 or in-house, as well  experience of VAT as it relates to large groups. Individuals with experience from HMRC also welcomed. 

Hybrid and flexible working is available but you will need some days a week in the office (which had free parking, a great canteen and subsidised shopping). This role is UK based and does not come with Visa sponsorship.
