NCFE is a leading provider of educational services with a strong heritage in learning having been at the forefront of technical and vocational education for over 170 years. Designing, developing and certifying diverse, nationally recognised qualifications and awards our extensive portfolio of qualifications covers a wide range of sectors to help learners of all ages fulfil their personal goals.

Within NCFE the Apprenticeship Services End-Point Assessment (EPA) team work with Independent Training Providers (ITPs), Further Education Colleges and Employers developing and delivering end point assessments for apprenticeships in line with the assessment plans written by the Trailblazer groups. This includes the end to end process of accepting a learner through Gateway, carrying out the assessment and ultimately certifying them supported by rigorous standards designed to drive consistency and excellence.

Right now we are looking to expand our dedicated team to carry out assessments specifically for the Professional Accounting/Taxation Technician Apprenticeship Standard. In this role adopting a digital first approach, you will deliver end point assessments for apprentices, conduct retakes, and provide detailed feedback to apprentices.

We would love to hear from you if you have had experience working within an Accounting and Taxation role within the last 5 years and hold a relevant qualification in the field of Accountancy/Taxation.  In addition you must have full working knowledge of Microsoft Office, have great report writing, time management, prioritisation and organisational skills, the ability to work independently, strong communication skills and are able to build rapport quickly.

Though not essential, if you have or are working towards a Relevant Assessor qualification, have an understanding of Trailblazer Apprenticeship Standards, have assessment experience and an understanding of Ofqual requirements this would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be given.
