This firm has been providing pro-active accountancy and business advice to Cheshire and South Manchester businesses for over 50 years. This firm specialises in many different industry sectors including Retail, Construction, Solicitors, Leisure and Media sectors, as well as those in Service Charge Accounting and Charities. This firm currently houses 100 members of staff with 8 partners.
Your new role
Your new role as a corporate tax senior will involve managing your own portfolio of corporate tax clients within an existing team of 5. You will take responsibility for the compliance and signing off of tax returns and ad-hoc advisory work. You will also assist partners and senior managers on large projects and complex advisory pieces whilst building on your knowledge along the way. You will establish and maintain the client relationship maintaining regular contact.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will have recent experience of managing your own portfolio of corporate tax clients from within a reputable firm of chartered accountants. You will ideally be ATT and/or CTA qualified or studying towards and be commercial, articulate and an excellent communicator.You will be ambitious and proactive in your approach with a strong work ethic.
What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts you will receive a salary of between £25,000-£35,000 and 23 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday.
