There’s plenty of autonomy, and you’ll have a lot of freedom to go about your business without anyone looking over your shoulder.
You’ll be working for the leader of the corporate tax team, who has been instrumental in the firm's success. They have made a place where the best talent can thrive. There’s a culture of understanding that talent excels when it’s free to do its best work. If you’re a self-starter, you’ll be given the space to do your thing, though there’ll also be support as and when it’s needed.
They’re trying to build something long-lasting, which means there’s no continuous pressure to reach goals or hit targets. But the opportunity to do so is there since the firm has many clients that provide plenty of work.

About the Role
Among other duties, you will:
Work on planning and ad-hoc projects
Work on tax advisory projects, tax structuring, transactions tax, remuneration planning, EIS, and more. You’ll report directly to the tax partners and, on occasion, work with non-tax specialist colleagues from other departments, such as corporate finances.
You’ll manage your own portfolio of corporate tax clients.
You’ll review and oversee corporation tax computations and returns.
That’ll be your client-based work. You’ll also have a chance to work on in-house tasks, such as marketing, training, presentations, and business development.
You won’t have to get involved with these tasks if you don’t want to, but the opportunities are there. This firm invests in its people and wants you to become the best you can be. This can involve helping you to study for professional qualifications and putting together personal and management development programs.
This is a role for an ambitious individual who wants to become a director. There’s no direct competition for this position: you can work hard, have a great lifestyle, and reach your professional ambitions.
You can make director in 18-30 months.
