You will run a portfolio of high level clients, dealing with complicated compliance work and shadowing senior staff on project work. One of your challenges will be to develop and manage the more junior members of the team. This will give you the experience to allow you to develop your supervisory skills, vital if you wish to advance.  In addition to the technical work, you will gain exposure to business development by working with partners and directors to generate new work.

This is a fast growing corporate tax team and there is plenty of opportunity to advance at your level. You could be looking at manager in 12-24 months.
