My client is a highly regarded energy provider which has grown at an exponential rate and are now building their in-house tax function following senior hires in both Direct and Indirect tax. The firm is UK based with a work-force of over 8000+ employees and they are undergoing a review of their work patterns, locations and compensation and benefits.
They are looking to appoint an Employment Tax lead to offer advise on their current operation and how they can better structure the ET offering. They have also had a number of employees request to work internationally across multiple countries which is something they would like to offer. Lastly, they would like the individual to review how they are completing their compliance and work with external providers whilst engaging with internal stakeholders.
The candidate therefore will be accustomed to offering a high level of advisory and he/she will be up to speed with current affairs and the challenges faced in Employment Tax. This is a contract role due to the immediate need and due to the specific nature of the advise relating to changes in work-patterns which will last 6 months.
Renumeration is dependent of the level of experience and my client can accomodate home-working.
