Expatriate Tax and Employment Taxes inhouse Sunderland - 16 month contract

Our client is looking for an expatriate tax specialist to join their business for 16 months to cover a maternity leave. The role involves a mix of expat and employment tax issues including:
Preparation of Income Tax returns for the business' inbound foreign service assignees and management of P11D, Taxed Award Scheme, PAYE settlement agreements and Share Incentive Plan compliance.
Being the first point of contact for all employment taxes compliance queries. 
Ensuring the business complies with all relevant tax legislation including, but not limited to, employment taxes, Income Tax, corporate taxes and VAT.
Providing employment taxes and Income Tax advice to other business functional areas such as HR and Payroll.
Whilst this role is employer taxes focused at times you may be called on to provide ad-hoc support for external and internal corporation tax compliance and reporting, including computations, monthly management account provisions, business plan forecasting and ETR reconciliation.
This is a great in-house opportunity in a friendly tax team. Based in Sunderland the role could be worked remotely with some travel to the office.
